This policy explains the information CartConverta processes, why it is needed, and the choices available to stores and their customers.

Who this policy covers

CartConverta provides tools that help stores manage customer conversations and sales workflows. AutomatorX operates CartConverta. This policy covers people who create or use a CartConverta account and customers who communicate with a connected store through supported messaging channels.

Information we process

Account and store information

We process account details, store settings, team membership, product information, approved knowledge, and configuration choices provided by store operators.

Connected channel information

When a store connects Meta services, we process identifiers for the authorized Facebook account, Facebook Page, and linked Instagram professional account, along with encrypted access credentials needed to operate the connection.

Conversation information

We process messages, attachments, message status events, referrals, customer channel identifiers, conversation state, operator actions, and generated responses. We also record service usage, model usage, costs, and security or audit events.

How we use information

  • Connect and operate store-authorized messaging channels.
  • Receive, organize, and respond to customer conversations.
  • Generate responses from store-approved instructions, products, and knowledge.
  • Apply opt-out, human-takeover, messaging-window, follow-up, and safety controls.
  • Secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve the service.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers for hosting, databases, queues, file storage, communications, analytics, and AI processing. They process information only to provide services to us under their applicable terms. We also share information when a store directs us to, when required by law, or when necessary to protect people, the service, or our legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. Retention can vary by information type and store configuration. We use access controls, encryption for provider credentials, tenant separation, audit records, and other safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Store operators can manage connected channels, automation, team access, and account deletion from CartConverta. Customers can ask the store to stop automated messages or request assistance from a person. Requests to access, correct, or delete information can be submitted through the store or through our support page.

International processing and updates

Information may be processed in countries where AutomatorX or its providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change and will publish the revised date on this page.
